Challenger-2 (United-Kingdom)

The Challenger-2 is the main battle tank in the British Army. However the Challenger-2 is based on the Challenger-1, just 5% is the same. In addition to the Challenger-1 the C2 has 150 more modifications inclusive a new gun-turret, L30 CHARM 120mm canon and Chobham armoring of the second generation.

Electronics and workplaces
The commander and gunner are having a perfect image of the battlefield thanks to Thermal Observation and Gunnery (TOGS) displays. The commander has a gyrostabilized fully panoramic sight with laser range finder and thermal imager.
The gunner is equipped with a gyrostabilized primary sight with a laser range finder and coaxially mounted auxiliary sight.
The driver has an image-intensifying day and night periscope.
The loader has only a day sight.
